Just checking my thoughts out loud. ARTEMIS II cost $4bn to launch. The overall spend on the project has been $93bn. The emissions into our atmosphere are huge.
All that to take a photo of the arse end of the moon 🤣

I was reading the mission objectives earlier. These are all taken from the official NASA Objectives(pdf) for the mission.
4. Complete Toilet acoustics assessment
"OK, you go in, close the door. Force out a big fart and we'll listen...... Have you done it yet? "
16. Obtain urine venting imagery
"grab the camera, I'll flush"
19. Obtain exercise imagery
"pretend you're running. Smile. Mission control, did you get that on the CCTV? "
31. Demonstrate ability to restrict access to crew tablets
"you've watched enough YouTube today. I'll put the tablets in this locked box. Close your eyes while I hide the key."
