250 Posts - fun stats
So here I am, with 250 blog posts under my belt. I have been blogging for many years, but these are the posts since I started the current incarnation of ForkingMad in January 2024.
My first post committed me to a variety of themes, and I think that still stands. I have expanded my topic reach, and there's a lot of life-based observation and commentary, and tech too. I hope it is a good balance?
Mid-last year I reflected on some blogging stats. However, now I have reached the dizzy heights of a quarter-of-a-thousand posts, here is some refreshed data:
I've bashed out almost half a million characters on the keyboard. Which I have moulded into 78,843 words of wisdom. 10,024 unique words.
I used Incandescent only once; a word I reserve for my highest point of irk.
End to End, my writing would stretch about 1,634 feet (500 metres), or the length of 5½ football pitches.
My most popular post, bizarrely, was about the puzzle game Wordle reusing words. It was read by over 14,274 people! The one where I was incandescent was second at 5,454.
